Sadly, I’m not going to be able to make it out for the WPBT Winter Classic this year. It’s schedule for the weekend before my finals. While I may be a decent student, I’m not good enough to avoid studying for my anatomy & physiology final.
Don’t forget — Cocaine in a can, baby!

For those of you wondering what to do with the change left in your Party account after you cashout — there is an option when you cashout to donate the money to Poker Players Alliance. I hope they can do a lot of good with my 50 cent donation!
Speaking of the PPA, if you haven’t joined yet, you really should.

PokerStars is staying in the US market!
With the PokerStars software, and an influx of PartyPoker players, this could be a lot of fun! If you’ve never played at PokerStars, they are running a first-time deposit bonus up to $50 right now. They don’t run these often, so take advantage of it while you can.

Since Party Poker has stated they will pull out of the US market, and I never really spent much time there, I cashed out of Party Poker.
This is the cashout screen message:
We are currently processing your Cash out request. We will send you a confirmation of your request via email.

Friggin politicians!
At least some of them are still slightly sane:
“Can he [King] please explain to me, if this is a Port Security bill, that we can’t put protection and security for our buses, and Amtrak, and mass transit, and our railroads, how it is that we managed to put a ban on internet gaming?”
~Rep. Shelly Berkley, D-Las Vegas
Things aren’t looking so good. Party Poker has already announced that they will pull out, and there are rumors about Poker Stars leaving the US market. What’s a girl to do?
